Gbps
Ethernet
port
slots
on
the
front
panel
that
can
support
up
to
two
10
‐
Gbps
XFP
PHYs
for
high
speed
uplinks
from
the
chassis
DFE
Ethernet
switch
system.
With
two
10
‐
Gbps
PHYs
installed
in
the
7KR4297
‐
02,
a
shared
uplink
of
up
to
20 Gbps
can
be
provided
from
the
DFE
switching
system
to
two
network
edge
connections
from
a
Matrix
E7,
Matrix
N7,
Matrix
N5,
Matrix
N3,
or
Matrix
N1
chassis
to
a
core
data
center.
The
DFE
module
ports
can
be
configured
to
control
traffic
by
limiting
the
rate
of
traffic
accepted
into
the
module
and
prioritizing
traffic
to
expedite
the
flow
of
higher
priority
traffic
through
the
module.
The
7KR4297

module
can
be
installed
in
a
Matrix
E7,
Matrix

but

supports
FTM2
data
backplane
interconnections
