Arrow Functions
The arrow in the green and red zone indicates current electrical energy consumption compared to the
average for the previous seven days. The border between the red and green zones precisely marks avera-
ge consumption. If the arrow is in the red zone, consumption is higher than the average for the previous
seven days. If the arrow is in the green zone, consumption is lower than the average for the previous seven
days.
NOTE! When the device is switched on for the first time, the arrow may
remain in the red zone until sufficient information has been collected to
display the correct consumption. The device will show the correct con-
sumption only after seven days.
Controls
The mode of the premises and the eSmart control functions are specified
in the Control menu.
Home, Safe at home, Away
and
Away long
modes
can be selected. A code lock is displayed when the
Away
or
Away long
mode is selected. If the four-digit code entered is correct, the home screen
is displayed and the premises into
Home
mode. If the code is incorrect, the
message
”Incorrect code, try again”
is displayed. The default code is 1234.
Other controls
Controls 2, 3, and 4 can be programmed to control the functions of certain
equipment. Selections available for modification are displayed in boldface
on the
Other controls
menu.
Car heating
Select the control output used for car heating. The following day is selected
and displayed in blue by default; all timer programmes are empty. Select
the weekdays, set the heating time max. 6 hours, and the intended time for
starting the car.
If
Auto
is selected as the heating time, the system calculates the required
heating time based on the outside temperature (see the table). The hea-
ting times are calculated linearly (e.g. -15°C --> approx. 2.5h). Tap
”Save”
and select either
”Permanent”
to repeat the timer programme each week
or
”Temporary”
to use the timer programme only once. The weekdays in-
cluded in the timer programme are displayed in green. The weekly timer
programme can be temporarily changed, and the changed weekday has a
circle around it.
Heating can be started or stopped immediately, independent of the set-
tings. The heating remains on for 12 hours.
Outdoor lighting
Outdoor lighting control is based on the light-level sensor located in the
ECO607 outside temperature sensor. ‘Night-time off’ starting and ending
times can be specified for outdoor lighting. The light level at which the out-
door lighting will switch on can be specified – the lighting will turn on when
the light level drops below this limit. During the "night-time off" period, this
light level has no effect. Outdoor lighting can also be switched permanently
on or off by adjusting light level to extreme positions.
