Chapter 3 —Personalizing Your System
To access the Parameters described on this page (unless otherwise noted):
Press the System button , turn the Parameter knob to locate the parameter ,
and then turn the Value knob to change the parameter's setting .

Routing Sounds to Specific Outputs
A ll Pa r ts — and the Sounds they use — a r e r outed to an F X ( E ff ect ) bus. Each bus goes to an
E ff ect, which is then assigned to eithe r the M ain Outs o r the A ux Outs. T he D r y bus is a
special case in that it ’ s assigned to the M ain o r A ux Out without going th r ough an E ff ect.
T hese assignments a r e pa r t o f the cu rr ent Pe r f o r mance and may be saved with the
Pe r f o r mance ; the F X Bus pa r amete r setting can also be saved into a Pa r t ’ s Sound. ( See

I n r outing a Sound to a pa r ticula r pai r o f Outs, he r e ’ s what happens :
• T he Sound is assigned to a Pa r t
• T he Pa r t is assigned to an F X bus
• T he bus goes to an E ff ect ( except the D r y bus, which goes di r ectly to the Outs you
choose )
• T he E ff ect is assigned to eithe r the M ain Outs o r the A ux Outs
To Send a Part, Its Sound and Effect to the Desired Outputs
1. Use the Select Pa r t Buttons to make su r e the Pa r t you want to assign to the M ain Outs
is selected.
2. P r ess the Pa r ams button.
3. T u r n the Pa r amete r knob until the display shows “ F X Bus=. ”
4. Using the V alue knob, select an E ff ect bus to r oute the Pa r t ’ s Sound th r ough the E ff ect
you desi r e.
5. P r ess the E ff ect button.
6. T u r n the Pa r amete r knob until the display shows :

8. T u r n the Pa r amete r knob until the display shows the Output A ssign pa r amete r f o r the
F X bus you ’ ve chosen.
Note:
T he L ight R eve r b, M edium R eve r b and W et R eve r b busses all use the Global
R eve r b Output A ssign.
9. Use the V alue knob to select eithe r the M ain o r A ux Outs.
To Send a Part and Its Dry Sound to the Desired Outputs
1. Use the Select Pa r t buttons to make su r e the Pa r t you want to assign to the M ain Outs
is selected.
2. P r ess the Pa r ams button.
3. T u r n the Pa r amete r knob until the display shows “ F X Bus=. ”
4. Using the V alue knob, select D r y.
5. P r ess the E ff ect button.
