Press the Save button , turn the Parameter knob to locate the action , and
then turn the Value knob to select the object of the action .

Saving the Current PerfEditKit
T his command is used to save the Pe r f Edit K it in the cu rr ently selected Pe r f o r mance to any
w r itable Pe r f o r mance location. Fo r mo r e in f o r mation about using, c r eating, and editing

To Save the Current PerfEditKit
1. P r ess the Pe r f o r mance button and select the Pe r f o r mance that contains the Pe r f Edit K it
that you want to save.
2. P r ess the Save button.
3. T u r n the Pa r amete r knob all the way counte r clockwise.
4. T u r n the V alue knob until the display shows :
Hit ENTER to:
Save:ThisPerfEditKit
5. P r ess the Ente r button.
I f the System W r ite P r otect pa r amete r is set to P r ompt, the display will show :
System Write Protect
On! ENTER Overrides.

• R A M — to save the Pe r f Edit K it to a Pe r f o r mance in the M R - R ack ’ s inte r nal R A M
memo r y.
• C R D — to save the Pe r f Edit K it to a Pe r f o r mance on an installed data ca r d ( see
“ Fo r matting a PC M C I A Ca r d ” below f o r inst r uctions on how to p r epa r e a data ca r d
f o r sto r age ) .
7. Use the V alue knob to select a speci f ic Pe r f o r mance f o r you r Pe r f Edit K it.
8. W hen you ’ ve selected a Pe r f o r mance in which to save you r Pe r f Edit K it, p r ess the Ente r
button.
Warning:
W hen saving a Pe r f Edit K it to a Pe r f o r mance on a data ca r d, avoid r emoving
the ca r d f r om its slot until the saving p r ocedu r e is complete — doing so may r esult in
co rr upted data on the ca r d and/o r in the M R - R ack ’ s inte r nal memo r y.
