Ready to set intensity and start therapy
The 4 stimulation channels can be used in combination (linked) or totally independent, and each
channel can run different programs. Intensity can be regulated separately for each channel.
For example, after setting the parameters for High Frequency TENS on channel tab 1, touching
channel tab 3 will bring up the option to set the parameters for another program.
With every parameter set, you can now either
first save your settings (press save icon) and
then set intensity or begin the therapy (
without
saving the parameter settings).
•
To adjust the output current, touch the
tab of the selected channel. Its color will
change to orange, after which the current
amplitude can be set with the central
controller.
•
The therapy will start and the treatment
timer will run down to 0 and stop
automatically.
•
To pause the treatment, touch the pause
button in the navigation bar.
•
To continue the treatment, touch the start
button in the navigation bar.
To immediately stop the treatment, touch
the STOP button in the navigation bar.
Note: With NMES muscle stimulation, after setting the parameters for wave form, treatment time,
frequency, pulse duration and channel, select the surge program button to set the parameters that
determine the pattern of the muscular contraction (see description
6 (f). Surge Program
).
Set intensity of channel 1 by touching the intensity tab and turning the central controller until
muscle contraction. Do the same for same for channels 2, 3 and/or 4 when choosing multi-channel
stimulation. The intensity of channel 1 will drop to zero while setting intensity of the other
channel(s). Once all set, touch the start button in the navigation bar to start the stimulation
program.
