after a external Modem Ring in through the COM Port. That is the
special function for the Modem Ring on. But if the machine is in the
off mode and you just power ON/OFF the external Modem, sometimes,
it will cause the machine power on, because the Modem Power
On/OFF pulse will be taken as the Modem Ring in signal and then
power up the machine.
PNP/PCI Configuration
The PNP/PCI Configuration Setup allows you to configure the ISA and PCI
devices installed in your system.
PnP OS Installed
Normally, the PnP resources are allocated by BIOS during POST (Power-On Self
Test). If you are using a PnP operating system (such as Windows 95,98), set this
item to Yes to inform BIOS to configure only the resources needed for booting
(VGA/IDE or SCSI). The rest of system resources will be allocated by PnP
operating system.
Resources Controlled By
Setting this option to Manual allows you to individually assign the IRQs and DMAs
to the ISA and PCI devices. Set this to Auto to enable the auto-configuration
function.
Reset Configuration Data
If you had plugged some Legacy cards in the system and there were records into
ESCD (Extended System Configuration Data). You can set this field to Enabled to
clear ESCD one time, while the Legacy cards were removed.

Assign IRQ For USB
