Safety instructions
• Always wear safety shoes and gloves when working with the multi-charger or battery. If you
do come into contact with battery acid, follow the instructions in chapter 10.3. Attach the
equipment to a stable surface using the appropriate holes on the mounting flanges. In case
of installation on a vehicle, it is advisable to use anti-vibration support.
• The equipment should preferably be installed in a vertical position with the ventilation
facing down. Horizontal installation is not allowed. Never install the multi-charger in a
vertical position with the ventilation facing up.
• If an extension cord or receptacle is used, ensure that the total amperage required for all
equipment on the extension is less than the rating of the extension.
• Place the multi-charger in an open and well-ventilated area.
• To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the multi-charger to rain or moisture.
• Do not install the multi-charger near heat sources such as radiators or air ducts.
• Do not install the multi-charger in a place subjected to direct sunlight, excessive dust,
mechanical vibrations or shocks.
• Make sure that the multi-charger is installed as instructed in this manual and in accordance
with any applicable national or local norm.
• Do not drill additional holes in the multi-charger or attach the multi-charger to the wall or to
