Heat-Pump System Test
This procedure allows the installer to bypass delays associated with the minimum on/off times.
OUTPUT TESTED PROCEDURE EXPECTED RESULT
Fan
Mode = Off
Fan = change from AUTO to ON Fan should turn on

Mode = COOL
Set the setpoint by at least -5°F (-3°C)
below room temperature and press
ACCEPT to engage HOLD
First stage cooling should

Remain in COOL mode
Return to the Hold function and press
ACCEPT again
Second stage cooling should

stage heating
Mode = HEAT
Set the setpoint by at least +5°F
(+3°C) above room temperature and
press
ACCEPT
