Replace the protective cover on the Communication Port at the rear of the DdL™ Caliper Tool by screwing the cap clockwise until
seated fully. (
refer to 4.2.2. Table

:
It is very important that the protective cover is replaced and seated fully.
4.2.2.1.1.
This will help ensure that nothing will get into the Communication Port during the survey, causing damage to
the DdL™ Caliper Tool.
4.2.2.1.2.
Please be mindful of the other connectors located around the Communication Port
4.2.2.1.2.1.
DO NOT disconnect any of the other connectors that are located around the Communication
Port.
4.2.2.1.2.2.
These other connections may become disconnected or even damaged if moved in a manner not
intended.
