Separate housing for
the electronic insert
The mounting accessory enables the separate housing to be fixed to a wall or to a
horizontal or vertical 2" pipe.
Select a mounting point which is protected from vibration and heat radiation and
where there is sufficient clearance for connecting and calibrating the instrument.
3.2 Mounting
Unpacking
The fork of the Soliphant is packed in a cardboard tube for transportation. To prevent
the fork from being damaged, do not remove this until immediately before mounting.
See Section 8.6 "Disposal" for disposing of the packaging.
Instrument identification
Before installing, check to see if you have the correct instrument:
Compare the product designation on the nameplate with that given
in the product structure on the next page.
