If using pumps
• If pumps are used, do not install the sensor on the intake side of a pump. This precaution is to
avoid low pressure and the consequent risk of damage to the lining of the measuring tube.

it might be necessary to install pulse dampers.

Orientation
An optimum orientation position helps avoid gas and air accumulations and deposits in the
measuring tube.
Vertical orientation
Vertical orientation is optimal in the following scenarios:
• For self-emptying piping systems.
• For sludge containing sand or stones where the solids tend to settle at the bottom.
