Special cases
Metal, ungrounded piping
In order to prevent outside influences on measurement, it is advisable to use ground
cables to connect each sensor flange to its corresponding pipe flange and ground the
flanges. Connect the transmitter or sensor connection housing, as applicable, to ground
potential by means of the ground terminal provided for the purpose (Fig. 31).

The ground cable for flange-to-flange connections can be ordered as an accessory
from E+H

300: the ground cable is in direct connection with the conductive flange coating
and is secured by the flange screws.

350: the ground cable is in direct connection with the metal transport bracket.
