Preliminaries
Prior to initial commissioning, ensure that:
• The sensor is correctly installed
• The electrical connection is correct

Before commissioning, check the chemical material compatibility, the temperature
range and the pressure range.
7.1.1
Assembly adjustment
The material of the flow assembly used affects the autofluorescence. Depending on the
customer's requirements, the value of the autofluorescence can be adjusted in the clean
and dry assembly before commissioning or recommissioning.
1. Ensure that the assembly is clean and dry.
2. Measure the value in the clean and dry assembly.
3. Select
Calibration
in the transmitter.
4. Select the fluorescence sensor.
5. Under
Fluorescence
, enter the value previously measured as a negative offset.
