Instrument configuration
After power-up (connection to power), the
instrument performs a self-test and then
enters the measuring mode.
Now it can be configured and calibrated for
the first time.
The following function groups are available on
the Liquisys M (the function groups that are
only available on the S version are marked
accordingly in the function descriptions):

Selecting and locating functions is facilitated
by a code displayed for each function in a
special display field. The structure of this
coding is shown in Fig. 5.2.
The first column indicates the function group
as a letter (see function group designations).
The functions in the individual groups are
counted from the top to the bottom and from
the left to the right.
Factory settings
When the instrument is switched on for the
first time, the factory settings are in effect. The
following table provides an overview of all
major settings.
Please refer to the description of the
individual functions in chapter 5 for all other
factory settings (the factory settings are
printed in
bold
face).
