7 Maintenance
Note:
•
Proper functioning can only be ensured if the instrument ist operated according to the operation
instructions!
•
All set parameters are retained by storage in a non-volatile memory. The life of the back-up battery
is approximately five years.
•
All the fuses of the transmitter are located in the terminal box (see Pin Assignment, Chap. 4.1).
•
Repairs not described in this manual may only be carried out by the manufacturer or by the
Hauser service organisation. You can find the address of your nearest E+H sales centre
on the rear page of this manual.
7.1 Maintenance

The CUM 750 / CUS 70 measuring system generally requires little maintenance. However, for trouble-
free functionality, you should carry out the following servicing work:
Every three months:
Clean sensor
Remove sediment with spraywater.
Yearly:
General function test
Check the age of the back-up battery (battery life is about five years)
Retighten cable terminals or check for firm seating.
