A. 4 SERVICE
The components of your Emulex MD21/S2 Controller have been designed
to give years of trouble-free service, and they were thoroughly
tested before leaving the factory.
If one of the diagnostic procedures described in this manual
indicates that a component is not working properly, the MD21/S2
Controller must be returned to the factory, or to an Emulex
authorized repair center, for service. Emulex products are not
designed to be repaired in the field.
Before returning the component to Emulex, whether the product is or
is not under warranty, you must contact Emulex's Repair Center for
instructions and a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.
DO NOT RETURN AN MD21/S2 CONTROLLER TO EMULEX WITHOUT
AUTHORIZATION. An MD21/S2 Controller returned for service without
an authorization will be returned to the owner at the owner's
expense.
