Symptom
Solution
The unit does not start or stops
Check the electrical connections
•
Check the fuses on back panel
•
Check main switch function: At least one LED must be visible on adjustments and working mode areas
•
The unit is in "stand-by" mode, tap on any sensitive zone to exit stand-by
•
Send the unit to your authorized EMS Service Center
•
The foot pedal does not activate the unit
Check that the foot pedal is properly connected
•
Activate the pump with the back up switch on back panel
•
Replace the foot pedal
•
Send the unit to your authorized EMS Service Center
•
The unit is still activated when the foot
pedal is released
The foot pedal is active, check for jam at foot pedal
•
Disconnect the foot pedal and check function with the back up switch on back panel
•
The switch in the pedal is blocked. Turn the unit off at the power switch
•
Replace the foot pedal
•
Send the unit to your authorized EMS Service Center
•
Hand piece inert, or unstable function
Check cord connection to the unit
•
Verify the power setting, increase power setting to maximum
•
Check that the instrument is tight on the handpiece using the combitorque
•
Install a new instrument on the handpiece
•
Replace the handpiece and/or the handpiece cord
•
Send the unit to your authorized EMS Service Center
