Table 4.3 RADIUS Flag and Static Username Parameters
When you have finished modifying these parameters, click Save RADIUS Flag and
Static User Name Settings. This opens the Superuser Menu Result page, enabling you to
reboot the IDU and implement the modifications.
4.3.5 Static User Password Settings
The static user password for the SIT must match the password as expected by the
RADIUS server. The password is entered as follows.
1. Type the password in the New Password field.
2.)Retype the password in the Retype New Password field.
3.)Click Change Password to implement the change.
The static user password is not visible in the configuration file.

Superuser Password Configuration
Use the Superuser Password Configuration page to change the password used to access
the Superuser Menu. It is recommended that you change this password from the factory
default.
The superuser password is changed as follows.
1. Type the existing password in the Old Password field. The factory default password
is “su001pwd”.
2.)Type a new password in the New Password field.
3.)Retype the new password in the Retype New Password field.
4.)Click Change Password to implement the change.
RADIUS Flag
This flag enables the RADIUS authentication. This requires the
RADIUS server to be enabled.
This parameter is set during initial configuration of the IDU (see the
Installation Manual,
section 3.9
).
Static User Username
The username of the static user is to be entered here. It must match the
username as expected by the RADIUS server. If the Default Domain
Name flag is set to “1”, the default domain name will automatically be
appended to the username, i.e. “StaticUser@defaultDomainName”.
This parameter is set during initial configuration of the IDU (see the
Installation Manual,
section 3.9
).
