4.  The red and green control panel LED lights will begin to flash

alternately while the fireplace performs a safety test. After

approximately 45 seconds the test will complete and the

fireplace will prepare to ignite.

5.  After the safety test is complete, the ignitor will glow red and

the burner will light within approximately 30 seconds.

Note:

The startup sequence takes approximately 1 minute,

15 seconds to complete.

Note:

If the burner fails to light, the fireplace will retry the ig

-

nition sequence three times then enter lock-out mode if it fails

to light. See page 19 for the fault codes and their meanings.

6.  After the burner lights, the flame icon on the display panel will

appear and the fireplace will automatically adjust to the flame

level shown on the display.

Attention:

The fireplace will always ignite on Level 5 (High)

prior to adjusting to the flame level shown on the display panel.

7.  The blower will activate after three to five minutes depending

on flame level. The blower will automatically adjust its speed

as the fireplace warms up or cools down. The blower speed

will be indicated on the display panel. See page 13.

8.  The flame level can be adjusted either up or down at any

point during the fireplace’s operation. If using the remote’s

thermostatic function, the fireplace adjusts the flame level

automatically.

Note:

When changing from a low flame level to a higher flame

level, the fireplace will automatically increase to Level 5 (High)

prior to proceeding to the desired flame level. This is to ensure

consistent operation.

9.  When the fireplace is shut down, the inducer will operate

at full power for approximately 10 seconds after the burner

is extinguished. This is to clear any flue products from the

fireplace’s combustion chamber. The circulating air blower

will continue to operate until the fireplace cools sufficiently.
