1.0 Introduction
By combining your EM4555 wBUS 300 wireless USB adapter with the EM7070 or
EM7071 hdMEDIA High-Definition Media Player by Eminent you can use the device
wireless. The maximum performances depend on your wireless network and the
internet connection.
Before you begin, it is advised to check which version of the hdMEDIA you have. The
EM7070 can be recognized by the white colour of the unit, and the EM7071 is black.
Both units also have the version number printed on the front panel.
Due to technical reasons it is not possible to stream material with high bitrates.
Playing material with low bitrates (720p) wireless is possible in most cases. The
combination of the hdMEDIA and the wBUS300 stick is mostly intended to connect it
to your network, so the device can download wireless through per example Usenet
and Bittorrent. (This limitation is also present with the use of a 300N network.)
