In the field ‘LAN IP Address’ you fill in the address which you have wrote down in
chapter 2.3.

Username and Password does not need to be changed. (Only if you have
changed the default password of your hdMEDIA previously.)

Click on the button ‘Upload settings’.

The wireless drivers and settings are now stored on your hdMEDIA.
10. After a short period the program will notify that the settings are complete and
automatically reboot your hdMEDIA.
11. Now remove the networkcable from your hdMEDIA.
When the hdMEDIA is rebooted the driver will be active. This can take up to 5
minutes. The connection with your wireless network will by made automatically.
If there is no wireless connection possible, please make sure that the wireless settings
are entered correctly. If you made a mistake, then the hdMEDIA can be reconnected
through the LAN connection. (Simply follow the steps in chapter 4 again with the
modified WLAN settings.)

Everything is set correctly, but still I cannot get a connection with the
hdMEDIA. (Wireless)
A:
Please keep in mind that the SSID and WPA/WPA2 keys are case-
sensitive. Check these settings in your modem/router and then execute the
setup program again.
Q:
How can I see on the television if my hdMEDIA is connected wireless?
A:
Due to the technical specification of the driver it is not shown in the network-
menu of your hdMEDIA that it is connected. You can see through the most
status screens of your modems/routers if the connection is good.
Q:
Which wireless security do I have to set in my router/modem?
A:
The WPA or WPA2-security is prefered. With this you can set a secure
password consisting out of numbers and letters. Please keep in mind that
these are capital sensitive.
