2.0 Before you begin
To connect your hdMEDIA to a wireless network, you need the security data of your
wireless router or ADSL modem. If you do not have this, consult the person who has
set up the wireless network or check the active settings in your wireless router or
modem.
Write down the wireless data in the following fields:
Data wireless network::

3.0 Installation requirements
For a correct installation the hdMEDIA needs to comply with the following demands:

The hdMEDIA needs to have a build-in hard drive.
•
The disk needs to be formatted in the hdMEDIA.
•
The NMT Applications must be installed on the hard disk.
•
The hdMEDIA must be (temporarily) connected to a router with wired network.
The hdMEDIA must get an “auto ip” and can not manually set.
•
A computer with Windows XP or Vista-installation is required for setting up the
wireless connection details.
If one or more of these requirements is not met, please consult the manual which is
supplied with the hdMEDIA. (For example to install the NMT applications.)
4.0 Installation
The installation of the wireless adapter consist of two parts. The first part is done by
your television and the hdMEDIA. For the second part you will use your computer.
4.1 Hardware installation
Follow these steps to connect the wBUS to your hdMEDIA.
