Installation of the ELDRO
®
device
To mount the ELDRO
®
device, mounting eyelets are arranged on the
motor housing and drill holes are provided in the lifting rod where the
connection with the device that is to be operated (e.g. brakes) is pro-
vided using matching bolts.
Diameter and length of the needed bolts can be found in the dimen-
sion tables (
⇒
Chapter "Technical data", Section "Dimensions").
In the selection or dimensioning of the bolts (by the operator),
also the required swivel capacity of the ELDRO
®
device must
be observed.
The ELDRO
®
device is installed in the following work steps:
▪
Take the ELDRO
®
device to the place of installation using lifting
equipment.
▪
Slightly grease the bolts to prevent them from getting seized up.
▪
Insert bolts into the base drill hole.
▪
Insert bolts into the drill hole on the thrust shackle.
▪
NOTE
Both bolt axes must be aligned in parallel to each other, as the lift-
ing rod will otherwise get jammed and the free development of
force by the device is then no longer assured.
▪
Secure bolts with splint pins or similar against coming off.
