7. Optional AL100 Accent Light Installation

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock,
disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan
before installing light kit assembly.
Position the AL100 accent light so that the opening of the
AL100 accent light slides through the downrod. Align the
mounting holes of the AL100 accent light to the motor
assembly (Figure 29).
NOTE: Be sure the AL100 accent light connector is
located close to the motor assembly connector for
ease of installation.
Install the AL100 accent light to the motor assembly using
three AL100 accent light mounting screws
previously removed on Step 7.1.

Securely connect the AL100 accent light connector to the
motor assembly connector (Figure 30).
Screw the four 25-watt candelabra base bulbs into the
AL100 accent light sockets (Figure 30).

Loosen and remove all three pre-installed AL100 mounting
screws from the upper housing of the motor assembly
(Figure 28). Retain the screws for re-installation.

Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To avoid possible
electrical shock, be sure electricity is turned off at the main
fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring. All wiring must be
in accordance with National and Local codes and the
ceiling fan must be properly grounded as a precaution
against possible electrical shock.
