Optional EIB (ACU+ Extended Interface Board) Connections (if required) (Main Bay Only)
The optional EIB (ACU+ Extended Interface Board) provides additional connection points for voltage and current inputs, programmable
relay outputs, and temperature probes. The EIB extended interface board is mounted inside the distribution cabinet. Refer to
Current Inputs, Voltage Inputs, and Programmable Relay Outputs
Current input, voltage input, and relay output leads are connected to screw-type terminal blocks located on the optional EIB.
Recommended torque for these connections is 2.2 in-lbs. Refer to
for terminal locations. Refer to
for pin-out information.
Current Inputs
Connect up to three (3) shunt inputs to the EIB. Observe proper polarity. Refer to
for pin-out
information. Refer to
to determine what shunt input to connect to on the EIB board.
Refer to the ACU+ Instructions (UM1M820BNA or UM1M820DNA400) and program the shunt input parameters found in the EIB menu.
