All the lights are off on my
FreezeAlarm
If the power is out or the power cord
is unplugged, the lights on the
FreezeAlarm will not be illuminated.
This is designed to save battery power
during a power failure. This could
also signal that something serious has
happened to your FreezeAlarm.
Check power connections and if you
still have no lights, call Customer
Service.
I am getting a temperature reading
of 302°F (150°C).
If you are receiving a very high
temperature sensor reading, your
temperature sensor is either
unplugged, not plugged in correctly
or it has been damaged. Replacement
sensors are available. Sensor part
number is TS-10-FA.
The alarm light is blinking
I have canceled the alarm call-out,
but the unit immediately calls me
back and continues to call the three
phone numbers even after repeated
“cancellations”.
This means your FreezeAlarm is in
STANDBY mode.
There may be fluctuating temperature
or power status that is causing the
unit to reset almost immediately and
then call back. Another possibility is
the unit is locked up and for some
reason, it resets and calls out even
when the alarm call-out has been
previously cancelled. If this occurs,
go into the programming menu and
delete the three phone numbers until
you can get to the property and try a
reset of the unit. See page 11 for
details on deleting a phone number.
Is there any way to reset the unit to
get it back to normal? Or, how do I
perform a “hard reset”?
To get the unit back to factory
settings, you would have to change all
the programmed settings back to
factory defaults. There is, however, a
HARD RESET option that does not
change any of the programmed
settings or phone numbers, but should
bring the unit back to normal
operating function. Remove the
power cord, battery, temp sensor and
phone line. Let the unit sit for 1 or 2
