On the center threaded nipple of the switch cover, you will
find a hex nut and lockwasher.
Loosen and remove the hex nut with a 14 mm end wrench,
and the lockwasher (Figure 16).
Retain both for the next step.

The light fitter can now be removed from the switch cover
by unscrewing the switch cover off the light fitter’s threaded
nipple in a counter-clockwise direction (Figure 17).
Reattach the lockwasher and hex nut to the fitter’s nipple
and safely store the light fitter for future use.
