9.4. Switching Positions Master/Slave
For programming Master/Slave (Teacher/Student) operation,
thresholds are to be programmed as well where receiver switching has
to occur.
Programming works just like for failsafe switching.
Hint:
Master/Slave setting can be used without explicit Teacher/Student operation.
This means: the main receiver RX1 (Master) is always active until it e.g. changes
into the failsafe state due to radio disturbance. The DPSI TWIN then switches to
the backup receiver RX2 (Slave). As soon as the main receiver RX1 works
flawlessly again and providing “regular” servo pulses, the DPSI TWIN switches
automatically back! Evaluation of RX2 failsafe signals does not take place.
Therefore, non failsafe capable receivers can be used.
