Four-port 8-Gb/s FC I/O module

The four-port 8-Gb/s FC I/O module (labeled 8 GbE Fibre on the latch handle) comes with
four optical (fibre) ports, one power/fault LED, and a link/activity LED for each optical port,
as shown in

Figure 23 on page 28

. This I/O module can interface at speeds of 2, 4, and 8

Gb/s. The four-port 8-Gb/s FC I/O module uses the SFP+ transceiver module.

Note: For information about connecting the four-port 8-Gb/s FC I/O module to a Tape
Backup, refer to the chapter describing the “Optional tape backup device cables” in the

EMC VNX VG2/VG8 Gateway Configuration Setup Guide.
