Adjusting universal rail length

The default setting for type “B” universal rail kits supports cabinets
in which the front and rear mounting channels are 21 to 25 inches
apart. Alternative settings for type “B” kits support cabinets 18-21
inches, 25-28 inches, 28-32 inches, and 32-35 inches “deep.”
To change the rail length, move the screw/nut assemblies on each
outside rail so that the two screws define the range stamped on the
inside surface of the outside rail, as shown in
Figure 22
.
