RS-485 CONNECTION (FOR RS-485 VERSION )
The RS-485 connection point is located at the side of the VS drive and should be connect to MODBUS
controller by a cable connector assemble (only connector without cable is provided) as below figure.
How to make RS-485 cable assemble connector
Disassemble the female connector and it can find pin out number on the base.
Prepare 1 Pair 22 unshielded twisted Paired Cable RS 485. The length is up to the PUMP distance away from
the MODBUS controller which is no more than 100m. Solder pin 1 for A and 2 for B respectively which is
same as Pump MOSBUS controller RS485 output pin configuration. Assemble the connector again and plug
into the RS485 socket on VS pump.
For long distance wiring, pin 4 is needed for grounding and 120 ohm terminal resistor across A/B
signal line.
