LOCATION
• Before using the freezer, remove all packaging materials (this includes impact protection,
foam rubber and tape from inside the freezer). Remove the protective film from the door
and the sides of the freezer.
• Place the freezer indoors in a well-ventilated place. The surface must be flat, robust and
durable.
It is recommend that the freezer is placed on a moisture-resistant surface.
• Protect the freezer from heat sources and direct sunlight. Do not place the freezer in wet
or damp environments. Rust can otherwise arise and impair insulation.
• There must be at least 70 cm clear space above the freezer and at least 20 cm clear
space around the sides and the rear of the freezer. This is to facilitate opening, closing
and heat dissipation.
• Use a warm damp cloth to wipe the interior and exterior of the freezer (add a little
detergent to warm water and give a final wipe over with water only).
STARTING
Let the freezer run for two to three hours before placing fresh or frozen foodstuffs in it.
In the summer, increase this time to 4 hours. This is because the ambient temperature is
higher then.
