Ignition Shutdown Delay
This option, available in the iR1600 Operating Mode Configuration menu, allows you to set the delay period (in seconds) that the modem
will wait before shutting down. The delay timer will commence when an ignition sense is no longer detected (e.g., vehicle is turned off).

The following steps describe how to set the Ignition Shutdown Delay parameter.
Set Ignition Shutdown Delay Parameter
1. From the Remote Configuration menu, click on the blank field next to the Ignition Shutdown Delay option.
2. Enter the number of seconds you want to set for the delay parameter (0-65534 seconds). For example, if you want the
modem to wait for 5 minutes before shutdown, then you would enter “300” (5 times 60 seconds=300) as the parameter.
3. Click on the Reboot button located at the bottom of the Remote Configuration menu to save and initiate the change.
