Connecting to Wi-Fi Internet
When you turn your computer on Windows will automatically scan the
surrounding area for all available wireless access points (Wi-Fi hotspots). If
Wi-Fi is detected the bubble below will appear. Please note that you will only
be able to connect to public Wi-Fi if it is not password protected. You can
connect to private Wi-Fi if you have permission and also the password.
1. Right-click the wireless network icon in the lower right corner of your
screen, and then click
View Available Wireless Networks
.
2. The
Wireless Network Connection
window appears and displays The
available Wi-Fi access points. Click your network, and then click
Connect
in
the lower right corner. Note: If you don't see your network, click
Refresh
network list
in the upper left corner.
