It is recommendable to clean the printer thermal head once a month. To do so:
Moist cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol.

Wipe the thermal head with the cotton swab to remove any stain from the thermal

head.
Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the thermal head.

Wait to allow the thermal head to dry off, and then shut the printer head cover.

Changing the Memory and Hard Drive of the Register
Changing the Memory
Before removing the memory, first turn of the register and remove the power supply from the
wall.
Step 1. Loosen the memory access door screw and remove the door. The memory access door
is the smaller of the two access doors on the back of the display head.
