CPU Installation Procedure
The following illustration shows CPU installation components:
Note:
The Pin-1 corner is empty on both the socket and
the CPU.
Follow these instructions to install the CPU:
1. Pull the CPU socket locking lever away from the
socket (A) to unhook it and raise the locking lever to
the upright position (B).
2. Match the pins on the underside of the CPU with the
pin holes on the Socket 370. Two adjacent corners on
the Socket are missing pin holes: two corresponding
corners on the CPU are missing pins. Lower the CPU
onto the socket accordingly.
