Warning:
Make sure that the machine is not exposed to water during use
(e.g.: rain, irrigation system …). This could lead to a short circuit. Moreover, the
user could be electrocuted.
• Lift the machine so that it rests on its feet and the spikes do not touch the ground.
• Press in the yellow start button, pull the operating handle toward the handlebar and the engine
will start silently.
•
If the machine vibrates abnormally or produces a vibration noise when it is running without a
load, the machine should be immediately switched off and the cause of this imbalance should be
investigated.
Caution:
Always be careful with each action; when wearing hearing protection one often
cannot hear the engine running.
9.4 Operating the machine
Caution:
As long as the engine has not come to a full stop after turning it off, the spikes
will continue to spin. Do not perform any maintenance work before they have
come to a halt.
Warning:
The protective belt cover offers protection against rotating parts. Therefore,
you must never reach behind this cover with your hands or any other body parts
while the engine is running.
