8.3 Other duties
Warning:
As an ELIET dealer you must familiarise your customers with the operation of
the machine and also point out the possible dangers involved in its use. Together
with the new owner you are expected to carefully go over the maintenance
points of the machine. These instructions must be repeated until the new owner
has fully understood everything.
As the manufacturer, ELIET wishes to re-emphasise that the dealer must expres-
sly point out to the customers that they must re-tighten all bolts of the machine
after the first 5 operating hours.
• The dealer shall make a final test drive and check that all devices operate properly.
• The dealer shall check that all safety features work perfectly.
• Every ELIET dealer warrants a long life span of ELIET machines. He shall lubricate all hinges
before delivering the machine to the client.
• Important information for the new owner at the time of delivery:
• The dealer shall familiarise the new owner with the operation of the machine.
• The dealer shall inform the new owner of potential dangers.
• The dealer shall insist that the machine be returned for a first service after 10 hours of opera
-
tion (belt tightening is required).
Caution:
The dealer shall ensure that the warranty card is filled out and signed.
