11.2.5 Checking and tightening the blade bolts
• The blade is mounted between two locking rings and fixed using a bolt (M8).
• The bolt tightness can be adjusted by holding the blade with one hand and using a 13 ring span
-
ner to turn the bolt clockwise to tighten. (Wear gloves!)
11.2.6 Checking the blade and sharpening
• Turn the blade and check that there are no cracks in it. If there are, replace the blade immedi -
ately. Always use original ELIET machine parts.
The blade must be undone in order to replace or sharpen it. The blade (1) is mounted between
two locking rings (2) and fixed using a bolt (3).
When removing the blade, note the order of the machine parts that have been removed; this will
simplify reassembly.
In order to sharpen the blade, you are advised to consult the ELIET dealer as they will have the
