When tensioning the cord, ensure there is a safe distance between the wheel and the blade.

Warning:

The blade will continue to turn for a while after the machine has been switched
off. Always be careful.

The ‘line’ that the blade follows is given by the indicator on the cover (see dia-
gram below).

A piece of string can be used to ensure that edges are straight. If the front
wheel continues along this string, the edge will follow the desired line. The wheel
and the blade are perfectly aligned.
