Heating cables can be fastened to the reinforce-
ment of the ferroconcrete flagstones. Alternatively,
the installation mesh of 4” x 4” (100 mm x 100
mm) grid made of Ø 0.16” (4 mm) wire can be
applied, which would facilitate maintaining
steady spacing of the cable, conforming to the
calculated values.
Applying thermal insulation layer to ferroconcrete
flagstone surfaces exposed to wind operation
from below (ramps, bridges, overpasses) can
improve the system’s effectiveness.
