Setting the air purifying & deodorising carbon
filter (black)
1. Remove the air filters in accordance with Figure A
(previous page).
2. Set the air purifying & deodorising carbon filter under the
filter stoppers located on the air filter. Ensure that the
black side of the air purifying & deodorising carbon filter
is facing up (away from the dust filter).
3. Replace the air filters as shown in Figure B
(previous page).
Changing the air purifying & deodorising

The filter should be changed every 3-6 months.
1. Remove the air filters in accordance with Figure A (left).
2. Remover the old air filter pad.
3. Place the new air purifying & deodorising filter under
the filter stoppers.
4. Replace the air filters as shown in Figure B.
NOTE:
The dirty air purifying & deodorising filter is not washable or
reusable. New filters are available from your nearest dealer.

1. Remove the air filter in accordance with Figure A.
2. Set the purifying dust collection filter under the filter
stoppers located on the air filter.

• The filter is sealed in a plastic bag. Do not open the bag
until just prior to use to preserve the life of the filter.
• Ensure the filter is stored away from direct sunlight.
Changing the purifying dust collection filter (green)
The filter should be changed every 3-6 months.
1. Remove the air filter in accordance with Figure A.
2. Remover the old purifying dust collection filter pad.
3. Place the new purifying dust collection filter under
the filter stoppers.
4. Replace the air filters as shown in Figure B.

Please dispose of replaced filters according to local
disposal laws and regulations.
Cleaning the unit and the remote control
• Wipe them with a soft cloth.
• Do not directly splash or pour water on them. It can
cause electrical shock or equipment damage.
• Do not use hot water, thinner, abrasive powders
or strong solvents.
Maintenance after air conditioner season
1. Operate the unit in the self CLEAN operation to allow the
mechanism to thoroughly dry.
2. Stop the operation and switch off the circuit breaker.
3. Clean the filters, then reinstall them.
Maintenance before air conditioner season
1. Make sure that the air filters are not dirty.
2. Make sure that nothing obstructs the air inlet or outlet.
3. Check the outdoor mounting bracket periodically for
wear and to make sure it is firmly in place.
