13.18 Counterweights
13.18.1 Right
counterweight
The right counterweight weighs around 10 kg so take
care when removing it.
Dismantling.
•
Remove the right side panel.
•
If there is an aluminium frame remove the 2 screws
that hold the counterweight to it.
•
Remove the 4 screws that hold the counterweight.
Re-fitting.
•
Before re-fitting the counterweight clean out any old
silicone from the screws and holes and reinsert the
new silicone in the holes where the screws will be
inserted.
•
Place the counterweight and screw in the screws
before the silicone has solidified.
13.18.2 Left
counterweight
The left counterweight weighs around 13 kg so take
care when removing it.
Dismantling.
•
Remove the left side panel.
•
If there is a spray pipe, slacken the clamp and remove
it.
•
If there is an aluminium frame remove the 2 screws
that hold the counterweight to it.
•
Remove the 4 screws that hold the counterweight.
Re-fitting.
•
Before re-fitting the counterweight clean out any old
silicone from the screws and holes and reinsert the
new silicone in the holes where the screws will be
inserted.
•
Place the counterweight and screw in the screws
before the silicone has solidified.
•
Reconnect the spray pipe if there is one.
