ABNORMALITY AND TROUBLESHOOTING
During use, if any irregularities are detected on the appliance’s operation, check the below table to understand the causes and
solutions to resolve them. If not possible, please contact the store where the appliance was bought.

Low batteries.
Replace the old batteries by new ones, same as
recommended by the manufacturer – see instructions

Cuff (G) not properly tightened or is

Tighten the cuff (G) properly and see the instructions
“Wrist cuff placement and measurement of the blood
pressure“.
There was a movement from the
arm or device.
Remain calm and keep the arm still. Make sure the
appliance stays still.
Arrhythmia.
This appliance is inappropriate for severe
arrhythmia patients.
Spoke, been nervous or scared
during measurement.
Do not speak and take a deep breath 2-3 times to relax.
There was some interference
during inflation or any error
operation during measurement.
See the instructions described on “Precautions to take
before and during blood pressure measurement”.
LCD display (A) shows the
indication “EE”.
The cuff (G) had an insufficient
inflation.
Repeat the measurement.
Some interference in inflation or

Remove the batteries for 5 minutes and reinstall them

CLEANING

Always turn off the appliance before any cleaning operation.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, scrub pads, alcohol or solvents.

Clean the LCD display (A) and the storage box (F) with a slightly damp cloth, drying them after with a soft, clean and dry cloth.

Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in
accordance with specific rules with the implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol
on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has the right to bring
it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance
with the directive.
Batteries:
Batteries contain substances which can pollute the environment. On order to preserve the environment, do not dispose of them with
your normal household waste. Please put them in an official battery disposal bin. Remove the batteries before recycling the appliance
at end of working life.

Electric Co. products have a 2 year guarantee.
In the event of technical malfunction, the product will only be replaced or a refund made after verification that the product is covered by
the guarantee.
The guarantee certificate issued by Pingo Doce – Distribuição Alimentar, S.A., is valid for the product
“BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR
– MODEL KD-788”
– referred to as “product” and it guarantees technical assistance service by the brand within 24 months since the
product is delivered to the buyer.
