INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
STEP 1:
HEARTH ( L/R )
A)
Place the Hearth sections next to each other in their
final installation location.
B)
Lift the Hearth sections onto the front edges to
access them from underneath.
C)
Apply construction adhesive between the Hearth
sections and push them together, being sure to line
up the bolt holes.
D)
Insert 4 bolts with 8 washers and 4 nuts. Tighten a
¼ turn past snug.
E)
Lay the Hearth down and slide into position. Use shims
if necessary to level the Hearth
STEP 2:
HEARTH EXTENSIONS
(IF APPLICABLE)
A)
Place a Hearth Extension next to the assembled
Hearth. Make sure the 4 bolt holes on top of the
Hearth Extension are at the back of the Hearth.
B)
Apply construction adhesive to the Hearth Extension
side wall and adhere to the Hearth.
C)
Using the access holes in the Hearth and the Hearth
Extension, insert 4 bolts with 8 washers and 4 nuts.
Tighten a ¼ turn past snug.
D)
Repeat on the other side if using two Hearth
Extensions.
E)
Use shims to level the completed Hearth, if necessary.
First make sure your installation surface is clean and stable. If needed, use shims to level the fireplace during
installation.
The unit can be placed on a 4 in. concrete slab or a paver patio that has been installed following ICPI (Interlocking
Concrete Paver Institute) guidelines.
