Line the fireplace base and firebox with fire brick.
B)
We recommend full dimension fire brick on the bottom
and split fire brick on the sides and rear wall.
C)
Fire brick on the bottom should be dry set to allow
for drainage.
D)
Rough Dimensions for Fire Brick:
Hearth Base = 5.75 SF
Back and Side Walls = 20 SF (depending on height of
your Hearth base material)
