The port for the scanner must be set in the service mode of the cash register. The cash register allows for a scanner to be
powered at COM1 - current limit of max. 500mA.
Note
A scanner can only be connected from the cash register if it is connected to COM1.
6.4. Connecting electronic scales to the cash register
Electronic scale having an RS232 interface can be connected to the Euro 50 cash register. The transmission parameters of
the scales must set the same as those of the cash register. Electronic scales can be connected to either COM1 or COM2.
The port for the scales must be set in the service mode of the cash register.
