Use paper ribbon, which end is not glued. If such paper ribbon will be used and not changed early, the printer
could be damaged or its life could be abbreviated. In this case the damaged printer waranty is not valid.
2.8 Usage and storage of thermal paper
Insert both ribbons into the entry holes of the printer and push the papers smoothly inside. The receipt paper
must pass trough the slot of paper end sensor. The printer has the journal paper end sensor built-in.Holding
the papers in the hole, press the
I
button (PAPER FEED). The printer feeds the ribbons by itself into the
mechanism, using about 30mm.
Set the right ribbon according to the picture into the slit of the take-up spool. The journal ribbon edge should
touch the take-up spool shield (on its right-hand side). Wind the take-up spool several turns in the direction
of the rotation and make sure the ribbon holds tightly. Set the take-up spool into the holders and turn it finely
so that the paper ribbon of the journal is stretched firmly. Insert the left ribbon into the receipt slit in the
printer cover (see the picture). Close the printer cover. Tear off the free ribbon and you can start
registration.
