Monitoring of the safety device
of the heating appliance
Checking the safety devices in the
heating appliance is done with the aid
of the flue cleaner key "
8
". Press the
flue cleaner key "
8
" until the red LED
"
3
" lights up.
Now release the flue cleaner key "
8
",
whereupon the LED "
3
" starts to flash
and the script “SF” and flow
temperature of the heating appliance
are alternately shown on the display.
From now on the appliance is working
at the maximum output set in heating
mode, until the safety devices of the
heating appliance are activated. (On
exceeding the temperature limit, the
appliance locks, the red LED "
3
"
flashes continually and the display
shows safety code 111.)
To resume operation, after cooling of
the appliance press RESET "
6
" key.
Protection system of heating
appliance
The heating appliance is protected
from operating faults by internal
monitors in the microprocessor circuit
board, which when necessary lock the
appliance for safety reasons. In the
case of an appliance being locked, a
code is shown on the display which
gives the type of locking and its cause.
Two types of locking can occur:

Safety shut-off
This type of fault is "
temporary
",
i.e. the fault is automatically
corrected, as soon as its cause is
corrected. Thereupon the
appliance switches itself on again
and resumes its normal operation.
While the appliance is in safety
stop, you can try to set it going
again by switching off and then on
again.

If safety switch-off occurs
repeatedly, please inform fasctory
customer service.

Locking
This type of fault is "Permanent",
the heating appliance can be
unlocked by pressing Key "6".
There follows a list with possible
operating messages and the
corresponding codes shown on the
display.
