Wireless Color Touch Panel
Ethernet Port
This port is for a hardwire connection to a router’s LAN port providing back-
up access to the Internet with a docked panel.

System Types
The SS1 System Station combines functions such as IR Routing, RS-232
control, relay activation and Ethernet control into a single device, allowing
the XP8.4 and other ELAN Wireless Color Touch Panels and wired VIA!s and
Olé Touchpads to control many aspects of an A/V system and/or automation
system. The SS1 has two primary application types:
STAND-ALONE - Connection Hub for XP8.4 Wireless Color Touch Panels i

Stand-
Alone/Home Theater applications.
ZONE - Connection Hub for XP8.4 Wireless Color Touch Panels when used as a

controller for a zone in an ELAN Multi-Room Controller-based system.
